Please note that this tool is not intended to treat obesity or significant weight loss. A good rule of thumb is if you can pinch the area you want to target with your fingers. If the area you want to reduce can be grabbed with a full hand, it is outside the scope of the device's intended use.
Contraindications:
Silk'n Lipo must not be used by children, adults with limited physical, sensory or psychological capacities, or those lacking experience or knowledge in how to use the device. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
User a lower EMS energy level if you experience any level of discomfort.
Stop use immediately if your skin is very red, or if it blisters or burns.
Use the device on clean, dry, healthy skin.
Do not use if you:
- have heart disease and you have not consulted your physician.
- are on immuno-suppressant drugs such as corticosteroids without consulting your physician or if you have an immune deficiency disorder.
- have any type of active cancer.
- have a lymphatic disorder, thyroid disorder, diabetes or liver disorder, or any other metabolic condition.
- have a pacemaker, internal defibrillator, or any other active electrical implant anywhere in the body.
- have applied topical solutions containing metal ions on the treatment area.
- have epilepsy.
- have serious arterial circulatory problems in the lower limbs.
- have an abdominal or inguinal hernia.
- are pregnant or nursing.
Do not use the device on the following areas:
Near the heart, the back ribcage, the head or neck, on the genitals, on or around the eyes, areas with tattoos, areas that have metabolic arthritis or chronic pain, areas that are swollen, infected or inflamed, or that have broken or irritated skin, or where there are skin erruptions (e.g. skin rashes, phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, or post-operative scars where the healing process could be affected etc), parts of the body that have metal staples, implants or pins, areas that have a history of cancer or potential skin malignancies.
