Using salon standard technology, the Sensilight PRO uses the signature Sensica light-based technology, Reactive Pulsed Light (RPL). Derived from professional salon technology, RPL allows you to enjoy safe and effective hair removal, without the need for a salon.

      What's more, the Sensilight PRO is cordless, meaning you have the freedom to treat you hair as and when you want. Moreover, with the unlimited flashes, you truly have no boundaries when it comes to permanent hair removal.

      Suitable for use on your legs, arms, stomach, back, shoulders, bikini area, underarms and face, the Sensilight PRO is your go to at-home hair removal device.

      Pain Free Hair Removal

      Sensilight PRO is customisable with the choice between selecting your own energy level or choosing the skin tone detection option, where the device determines which level is best and most safe, for you skin tone.

      The new gliding mode enables you to treat larger areas, such as the legs, with ease and in less time. Whilst an additional 2cm attachment head allows you to target smaller areas, such as the face, precisely and gently.

      The Sensilight PRO is suitable for use on all skin tones except the very darkest and all hair colour apart from light blonde, red and grey.

      To get started, simply remove the hair in the treatment area by shaving, select your energy level or allow the device to do so for you and begin your hair removal treatment.

      We recommend treating hair on your body every two weeks for weeks 1-4, followed by every four weeks between weeks 5-7. For facial hair, we recommend treating every two weeks for weeks 1-5, followed by every four weeks between weeks 6-8. For any subsequent top up treatments, these can be done as and when needed.

      How Does RPL Work

      Based on the scientific principle of selective photothermolysis, RPL is the next generation of the IPL technology commonly used in clinics today. In traditional IPL, flashes of light penetrate the skin layers from the epidermis through the dermis, before being absorbed by the melanin pigment in the hair shaft. The heat of the absorbed light then dissipates into the follicle, generating a local thermal effect (the surrounding skin remains cool), which causes a reduction in hair growth.

      However, Sensica have gone a step further with their RPL technology, adding a ‘reactive' element that makes the treatment safer and more comfortable. Unique sensors in the Sensilight PRO continuously react to your skin tone and condition, with every single flash of light. If the sensors detect that the skin in the treatment area is too dark, or that contact between the device and the skin has been broken, no flash will be emitted.

      Contraindications:

      Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO if any of the following apply to you:

    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO on scalp, eyebrows or anywhere near or around the eyes. Use in these areas may permanently damage your eyes.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO on red, very blonde, grey or white hair. The device is not effective on these hair colours.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO on nipples or genitals. These areas may have a darker skin colour and/or greater hair density and using the device in these areas may cause discomfort/pain or injure your skin.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO on dark brown or black spots such as freckles, birthmarks, moles or warts in the treatment area.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO on a tattoo or permanent makeup in the treatment area.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO on a male beard or facial hair.
    • Do not look directly into the glass filter or attempt to activate the device toward the eyes. To protect the safety of your eyes and those of individuals nearby, the device will only activate when both skin tone sensors are placed against the skin. If at any time the device activates when both sensors are not in contact with the skin, stop use immediately and contact your retailer.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO more than once a week on the same area. This will not speed up the results and may increase the chances of injury to your skin.
    • Do not treat on active eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds or infections (cold sores), abnormal skin conditions caused by systemic or metabolic diseases (diabetes for example).
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO a treatment area that has a history of herpes outbreaks.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO if you are pregnant or nursing.
    • Do not use Sensica Sensilight PRO while bathing or if it becomes damp or wet.
    • Do not attempt to open or repair your Sensica Sensilight PRO device.

      It works

      I used it for 4 times on just one of my legs and now I can see the difference between my legs clearly, it might not be as strong as clinical devices but definitely works well. I am happy with the results and would recommend it. I also appreciate delivery and support service from Currentbody.

      Indian skin tone - this seems to work

      I got this prior to the heat wave so have only used it a few time. Mostly on the chin are (I'm 49). I've also had full body laser so wanted this for the odd hairs that crop up every so often.

      So far used it only 3 times on the face but there is a distinct slow down in hair growth including no growth. I'm now plucking (its summer!) 1/fortnight from 3/week. Body - a little harder to tell as I only needed it for the sporadic treatment and so its harder to track. So far happy and the pain is bearable, much less than salon lasers.
