This neck and shoulder massager is the real McCoy! - It hits the sore and knotty points with force. At first I found using it was not a particularly relaxing experience but I felt better afterwards, especially around my shoulders. But using it again, getting a bit more accustomed to it and playing with the different modes I could chill out out more, let it do its stuff and enjoy! Beurer came as a recommended brand to me and I can see why - the massager does what it says, to relieve deep muscular tension.

I've long needed a deep penetrating massager for sore, rigid shoulders that I've put up with a long time. I was concerned that a massager wouldn't be effective. This model is unbelievable. It gives a proper beating! Very, very effective. My muscles are no longer sore. I sit there for 15 mins and let it do its stuff. The lowest setting is ample but I have gone up to the next speed when feeling brave! Soooooo glad I bought this massager. It's excellent.

This is better than I expected - after ten or fifteen minutes use the knots and tension in the shoulder muscles are noticeably relieved, particularly after a spell in the workshop or garden. I'm hoping regular use will undo some of the long term damage from repetitive work, poor posture and habitual tension.

I like the first and second intensity settings - the third (highest) setting beats the hell out of me! The massager can be shifted around a bit to really hit the sore spots, and the variation in the different programs really adds to the effectiveness.

I hesitated initially, but I'm very glad I bought it.
